Effects of This Medicine +
・This medicine inhibits both isoforms (type 1 and type 2) of 5 alpha-reductase, suppresses the conversion of dihydrotestosterone from testosterone and decreases the volume of enlarged prostate.・It is usually used to treat prostatic hyperplasia.
Dosing Schedule (How to Take) +
・In general, for adults, take 1 capsule (0.5 mg of the active ingredient) once a day.
・Strictly follow the instructions.・The ingredients contained in a capsule may irritate the oropharyngeal mucosa. Do not chew or open the capsule when you take this medicine.
・
Before Using This Medicine +
, a rectal examination or other screening for prostate cancer will be performed. These examinations are also performed periodically while using this medicine.・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. ・You should never take two doses at one time.
