Effects of This Medicine +
・This medicine inhibits cholesterol and triglyceride synthesis in the liver and promotes metabolism of lipoprotein in the blood. It consequently lowers LDL-cholesterol level and triglyceride level, and increases HDL-cholesterol level in the blood.
・It is usually used in the treatment of hyperlipidemia (including familial hyperlipidemia).
Dosing Schedule (How to Take) +
・In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (200 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, twice daily, after breakfast and supper. The dosage may be decreased for patients with renal diseases and elderly patients. Strictly follow the instructions.
・This product is available in 100mg and 200mg tablets. Select the strength prescribed by your doctor from the options above.
・If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
