・Hypertension (adults): In general, for adults, take 4 to 8 mg of the active ingredient at a time, once a day. The daily dosage may be increased up to 12 mg once a day as needed. If you have renal disorder, start with 2 mg at a time, once a day and the dosage may be increased up to 8 mg at a time, once a day, as needed.
・This product is available in 2mg, 4mg, 8mg and 12mg tablets. Select the strength prescribed by your doctor from the options above.
・Hypertension (children): In general, for children aged 1 or over but under 6 years, take 0.05 to 0.3 mg of the active ingredient per kilogram of the body weight at a time, once a day. For children aged 6 years or over, take 2 to 8 mg at a time, once a day. The dosage may be increased up to 12 mg at a time, once a day, as needed. If you have renal disorder, start with low dose and the dosage may be increased up to 8 mg at a time, once a day, as needed.
・Renal parenchymal hypertension: In general, for adults, take 2 mg of the active ingredient at a time, once a day. The daily dosage may be increased up to 8 mg once a day as needed.
・Chronic heart failure (mild to moderate): In general, for adults, start with 4 mg of the active ingredient at a time, once a day. The dosage may be increased up to 8 mg once a day as needed. The treatment except for angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor is continued in principle.
・In any cases, strictly follow the instructions.
・If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
