Doxazosin mesilate

Effects of This Medicine +
・This medicine exerts hypotensive effect by selectively blocking α1 sympathetic receptors.
・It is usually used to treat hypertension and hypertension caused by pheochromocytoma.
Dosing Schedule (How to Take) +
・In general, for adults, start with 0.5 mg of doxazosin at a time, once a day. If it is not effective enough, the dosage will be gradually increased to 1 to 4 mg at intervals of 1 to 2 weeks, to be adjusted according to the age or symptoms. However, the maximum daily dose is 4 tablets (8 mg of doxazosin) for hypertension and 8 tablets (16 mg) for hypertension caused by pheochromocytoma. Strictly follow the instructions.
・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.

・If you have liver dysfunction.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
