Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・For chronic heart failure (due to ischemic heart disease or dilated cardiomyopathy): In general, for adults, start with 0.5 tablet (1.25 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, twice a day after meals. If this medicine is tolerated (or taken without any problem), the dosage may be gradually increased in a stepwise manner at intervals of at least 1 week. If not, the dosage may be reduced. The dosage must be increased or decreased step by step, with 0.5 tablet (1.25 mg), 1 tablet (2.5 mg), 2 tablets (5 mg) or 4 tablets (10 mg) taken at a time, twice a day after meals. In general, as a maintenance dose, take 1 to 4 tablets (2.5 mg to 10 mg) at a time, twice a day after meals. The starting dose may be even lower according to the age or symptoms, and the maintenance dose may be adjusted according to responsiveness.
・For tachycardiac atrial fibrillation: In general, for adults, start with 2 tablets (5 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day, and if its effect is insufficient, the dosage may be gradually increased to 4 tablets (10 mg) at a time, once a day, and then to 8 tablets (20 mg) at a time, once a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age or symptoms, but the maximum dose is 8 tablets (20 mg) at a time, once a day.
・In any case, strictly follow the instructions.
・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. You should never take two doses at one time.

・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
・If you have bronchial asthma, bronchospasm, diabetic ketoacidosis, metabolic acidosis, bradycardia, atrioventricular block, sinoatrial block, cardiogenic shock, decompensated heart failure, right heart failure due to pulmonary hypertension or untreated pheochromocytoma.
・If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or possibly pregnant.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

・This medicine may cause dizziness/light headedness (especially early after administration or while increasing the dose). Avoid operating dangerous machinery, such as driving a car.
