Effects of This Medicine +
・This medicine selectively blocks cyclooxygenase-2 in an inflammatory site, inhibits synthesis of prostaglandin and thereby relieves inflammation or pain by exhibiting anti-inflammatory/analgesic activities.
・It is usually used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, low back pain, periarthritis scapulohumeralis, cervical syndrome or tendonitis/tenosynovitis, with anti-inflammatory/analgesic effects. It is also used to reduce inflammation and pain after operation, traumatic injuries or tooth removal.

・For rheumatoid arthritis: In general, for adults, take 0.5 to 1 tablets (100 to 200 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, twice a day, after breakfast and dinner.

・For osteoarthritis, low back pain, periarthritis scapulohumeralis, cervical syndrome or tendonitis/tenosynovitis: In general, for adults, take 0.5 tablet (100 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, twice a day, after breakfast and dinner.
・For pain after operation, traumatic injuries or tooth removal: In general, for adults, take the initial dose of 2 tablets (400 mg of the active ingredient), and subsequently take 1 tablet (200 mg) at a time, twice a day. The dosage should be at least 6 hours apart.
・If this medicine is taken as needed, take the initial dose of 2 tablets (400 mg), and subsequently take 1 tablet (200 mg) at a time, as needed, at least 6 hours apart. The maximum daily dosing is 2 times.
・In any case, strictly follow the instructions.
・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
