Effects of This Medicine +
・This medicine inhibits Factor Xa as the convergence point of the extrinsic and intrinsic blood coagulation pathways, resulting in the prevention of the conversion from prothrombin to thrombin further downstream, and shows direct anti-coagulant effects and indirect anti-platelet effects.
・It is usually used for treatment and prevention of recurrence of venous thromboembolism (deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary thromboembolism).
Dosing Schedule (How to Take) +
・In general, for adults, take 10 mg of the active ingredient at a time twice a day for the first 7 days. Subsequently, take 5 mg of the active ingredient at a time twice a day. Strictly follow the instructions.
・This product is available in 2.5mg and 5mg tablets. Select the strength prescribed by your doctor from the options above.
・If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as possible, then take the medicine twice a day as usual. You should never take two doses at one time.
