Effects of This Medicine +
・This medicine blocks the receptor in the brain and suppresses the action of dopamine which transmits the excitatory stimulation on nerves to improve the symptoms of excitement/aggression.
・It is usually used to improve aggressive behavior, psychiatric excitation, wandering behavior and delirium accompanied with cerebral infarction sequelae and treat idiopathic dyskinesia and dyskinesia accompanied with parkinsonism.
Dosing Schedule (How to Take) +
・In general, for adults, take 25 to 50 mg of tiapride at a time, 3 times a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to age and symptoms of the patient. For dyskinesia accompanied with parkinsonism, the initial dosage is recommended to be started with 25 mg at a time, once a day.
・This product is available in 25mg and 50mg tablets. Select the strength prescribed by your doctor from the options above.
・Srictly follow the instructions.
・If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
