Active Ingredient +

Efonidipine hydrochloride ethanolate

Effects of This Medicine +
・This type of medicine is called “calcium antagonist. EIt blocks calcium entry into the vascular wall and widens the blood vessel in order to provide antihypertensive/antianginal efficacy.
・Normally used to treat hypertension and angina
Dosing Schedule (How to Take) +
・General dosage regimen:
Hypertension: For adult, take 1-2 tablets (20-40mg of the active ingredient) daily in 1-2 divided doses. It should be adjusted according to the disease, age and symptom of the patient. The maximum daily dose is 3 tablets (60 mg). Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
・Angina: For adaut, take 2 tablets daily (40mg of the active ingredient) at once, after a meal. It should be adjusted according to the age and symptom of the patient. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
・If you are ordered to use this medicine on regular schedule and you missed a dose, apply as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take double doses to make up for the missed dose.
Before Using This Medicine +
・If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicines or foods.
・Patient with liver dysfunction, sinus node dysfunction.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Precautions While Taking +
・DO NOT take with grapefruit juice. That may cause this medicine to act excessively.
・Be careful of work at a height, driving of a car and the work that deals with the dangerous machine.
Storage Conditions +
・Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity.
・If any medicine is left, do not store them. Please consult with your pharmacist on discard.
