Effects of This Medicine +
・This medicine decreases blood pressure with angiotensin II-receptor antagonistic activity. It also reduces the deterioration of the renal function by reducing proteinuria to protect the kidneys.
・It is usually used in the treatment of hypertension, and diabetic nephropathy in the type 2 diabetes mellitus accompanied by hypertension and proteinuria.

Dosing Schedule (How to Take) +
・For treatment of hypertension : In general, for adults, take 1 to 2 tablets (25 to 50 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once daily. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age or symptoms, or may be increased up to 4 tablets (100 mg) daily. Strictly follow the instructions.
・For treatment of diabetic nephropathy in the type 2 diabetes mellitus accompanied by hypertension and proteinuria : In general, for adults, take 2 tablets (50 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once daily. The dosage may be increased up to 4 tablets (100 mg) daily according to the blood pressure level. If you have the potential to develop excessive hypotension, the initial dose is started at 1 tablet (25 mg) at a time. Strictly follow the instructions.
・If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to your next dose, do not take the missed dose. Just take the next dose at your regular time. You should never take two doses at one time.
