Effects of This Medicine +
・This medicine neutralizes gastric acid by antacid effect in the stomach. It also suppresses water reabsorption in the gut, expands intestinal contents, and gives mechanical stimulation to the intestine, consequently promoting defecation.
・It is usually used for antacid and improvement of the symptoms in gastric/duodenal ulcer, gastritis, upper gastrointestinal dysfunction. It is also used to treat constipation and to prevent calcium oxalate urolithiasis development.

・Antacid effect: In general, for adults, 0.5 to 1.0 g of the active ingredient in several divided doses a day.

・Laxative effect: In general, for adults, 2 g in 3 divided doses a day before or after meals, or once before bedtime.
・Prevention of calcium oxalate urolithiasis development: In general, for adults, take 0.2 to 0.6 g of the active ingredient a day with plenty of water.
