Pioglitazone hydrochloridMetformin hydrochloride

Effects of This Medicine +
・This medicine improves hyperglycemia by enhancing the action of insulin and by inhibiting the production of glucose in the liver.・It is usually used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Dosing Schedule (How to Take) +
・In general, for adults, take 1 tablet at a time, once a day, before breakfast. Strictly follow the instructions.・If you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
Before Using This Medicine +
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.・If you have a heart disease or a history of heart disease, lung disease, renal disorder or liver disorder; have experienced lactic acidosis in the past; are on dialysis; have ketosis, diabetic coma or precoma, type 1 diabetes mellitus or infection; are in a pre- or post-operative state; have an injury, pituitary abnormality, adrenal disorder, inadequate food intake or debility; are doing strenuous physical exercise or a heavy drinker; have gastrointestinal disorders such as diarrhea/vomiting, a bladder cancer/a history of bladder cancer or diabetic retinopathy.
・If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Storage Conditions +
・Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
・Discard the remainder. Do not store them. Seek advice of your pharmacy or medical institution about proper disposal of the unused medicines.
