・In general, for adults, start treatment by applying an initial dose of 4.5 mg of the active ingredient at a time, once daily, on any normal skin of a shoulder, upper arm, abdomen, flank, hip, or thigh and increase the daily dose by 4.5 mg each week while monitoring symptoms. Then apply a maintenance dose (standard daily dose of 9 to 36 mg) and replace the patches with new patches every 24 hours. The dosage may be adjusted according to age or symptoms, but should not exceed a daily dose of 36 mg.
