・This medicine acts on estrogen receptor of breast cancer cells to suppress proliferation of cancer cells.

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (20 mg of tamoxifen) a day, at one time or in two divided doses. Depending on the patient's symptom, it may be increased up to 2 tablets a day (40 mg of tamoxifen). Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor.
・If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should not take two doses at one time.
Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist
・If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicines or foods.
・If you have leucopenia or thrombocytopenia. If you have hereditary angioedema.
・If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Precautions while taking this medicine
・If you have a possibility of pregnancy, use contraception by means other than hormones while taking this medicine or for 9 months after your final dose.
・Men whose partner may have a possibility of pregnancy should use a condom to avoid pregnancy while taking this medicine or for 6 months after your final dose.
Storage conditions and other information
・Keep out of reach of children. Store away from light, heat and moisture.
・Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
・If you do not know how to discard the remainder, ask your pharmacy or medical institution. Do not give the unused medicines to others.
