Effects of This Medicine +
・This medicine decreases blood pressure with angiotensin II-receptor antagonistic activity. It also reduces the deterioration of the renal function by reducing proteinurina to protect the kidneys.
・It is usually used in the treatment of hypertension, and diabetic nephropathy in the type 2 diabetes mellitus accompanied by hypertension and proteinuria.

Dosing Schedule (How to Take) +
・For hypertension: In general, for adults, take a half to 1 tablet (25 to 50 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age or symptoms, or may be increased up to 2 tablets (100 mg) a day.
・This product is available in 25mg, 50mg and 100mg tablets. Select the strength prescribed by your doctor from the options above.
・For diabetic nephropathy*: In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (50 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day. The dosage may be increased up to 2 tablets (100 mg) a day according to the blood pressure level. If you have the potential to develop excessive hypotension, the initial dose is started at a half tablet (25 mg).

・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
