・This medicine becomes active vitamin D3 in liver and acts on intestine and bone to promote intestinal calcium absorption, dissolve bone minerals and form bones.
・It is usually used to improve various symptoms (hypocalcemia, tetany, bone pain, bone lesion) associated with abnormal vitamin D metabolism in patients with chronic renal failure, hypoparathyroidism and vitamin D-resistant rickets/osteomalacia, and to treat osteoporosis.

Dosing Schedule (How to Take) +
・Your dosage of this medicine is adjusted under a fully controlled condition of serum calcium level.
・This product is available in 0.25mcg, 0.5mcg and 1.0mcg tablets. Select the strength prescribed by your doctor from the options above.
・In general, for adults, take 0.5 to 1.0 μg of the active ingredient at a time, once a day.
・However, the dosage may be adjusted according to age or symptoms.
・In general, for children, take 0.01 to 0.03 μg/kg of the active ingredient for osteoporosis and 0.05 to 0.1 μg/kg for chronic renal failure at a time, once a day. However, the dosage may be adjusted according to disease or symptoms.
