Effects of This Medicine +
・This medicine inhibits the enzyme (DPP-4) which degrades incretin, a hormone acting to maintain constant blood glucose level. It enhances insulin secretion when blood glucose level is elevated, and consequently improves blood glucose control.

Dosing Schedule (How to Take) +
・In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (5 mg of saxagliptin) at a time, once a day. The dose may be adjusted to 2.5 mg at a time, once a day according to your symptoms. If you have moderate or severe renal dysfunction, take 2.5 mg at a time, once a day. Strictly follow the instructions.
