Effects of This Medicine +
・This medicine reduces acid production in the stomach by histamine H2 receptor antagonism. It also increases gastric mucus.
・It is usually used to treat gastric/duodenal/anastomotic ulcer, reflux oesophagitis and to improve gastric mucosal lesion (erosion, bleeding, etc.) caused by acute gastritis/acutely exacerbated chronic gastritis. It is also used for anesthetic premedication.

Dosing Schedule (How to Take) +
・For the treatment of gastric/duodenal/anastomotic ulcer, reflux oesophagitis: In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (10mg of the active ingredient) at a time, twice a day, after breakfast and after dinner or at bedtime. The dose may be adjusted according to your age and symptoms.
・For the treatment of gastric mucosal lesion caused by acute gastritis or acutely exacerbated chronic gastritis: In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (10mg of the active ingredient) once a day, after dinner or at bedtime. The dose may be adjusted according to your age and symptoms.
・For anesthetic premedication: In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (10mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 2 times; at bedtime of the day before the operation day, and 2 hours before anesthesia induction on the operation day.
・In each case, strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. You should never take two doses at one time.
