Valsartan

Effects of This Medicine +
・This medicine inhibits vasoconstrictive effects of angiotensin II and decreases blood pressure with angiotensin II-receptor antagonistic activity.・It is usually used to treat hypertension.
Dosing Schedule (How to Take) +
・In general, for adults, take 2 to 4 tablets (40 to 80 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age or symptoms. However, the dosage may be increased up to 8 tablets (160 mg) a day. In general, for children 6 years old or over weighing less than 35 kg, take 1 tablet (20 mg) at a time, once a day. For children weighing 35 kg or over, take 2 tablets (40 mg) at a time, once a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age, weight or symptoms. However, for children weighing less than 35 kg, the maximum daily dose is 2 tablets (40 mg). Strictly follow the instructions.・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. You should never take two doses at one time.

・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.・If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or possibly pregnant.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Precautions While Taking +
・This medicine may cause dizziness or light headedness due to decreased blood pressure. Pay close attention when working at heights or operating dangerous machinery, such as driving a car.
Storage Conditions +
・Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.・Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
