Effects of This Medicine +
・This medicine inhibits vasoconstrictive effects of angiotensin II and decreases blood pressure with angiotensin II-receptor antagonistic activity.
・It is usually used to treat hypertension.
Dosing Schedule (How to Take) +
・In general, for adults, take 1 to 2 tablets (40 to 80 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age or symptoms. However, the dosage may be increased up to 4 tablets (160 mg) a day. In general, for children 6 years old or over weighing less than 35 kg, take 0.5 tablet (20 mg) at a time, once a day. For children weighing 35 kg or over, take 1 tablet (40 mg) at a time, once a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age, weight or symptoms. However, for children weighing less than 35 kg, the maximum daily dose is 1 tablet (40 mg). Strictly follow the instructions.

・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. You should never take two doses at one time.
